Our laboratory is Situated at CNAM a higher education
and research public institution, under the supervision
of the Ministries of Education and Research.

A unique location for research ...

• Every year, approximately 60 doctoral theses are delivered, 800 final engineering dissertations are presented, and 30 industrial patents are registered.
• CNAM is a centre for fundamental, applied and industrial research that is equipped with 30 research laboratories.
• The technical and professional schools, created by CNAM in the year 2000, support 300 doctoral students in various research fields, and awards the French DEA (master of research) in partnership with other Universities.
• CNAM research teams, which are organised in 8 scientific departments, have working relationships with numerous academic, industrial and research institutions including; Inserm, Inra, IRD, and CNRS.

CNAM’s CULTURE

• CNAM offers rich and varied resources, including access to scientific and technical knowledge through its public library and world-class museum - the Musée des Arts et Métiers.
• CNAM and its network of partners offer public events throughout the year, including some 200 conferences, exhibitions, congresses and seminars.

• Cnam is active throughout the world. With regional centres (Cnam Centres) in more than 150 French towns, Cnam is able to project its teaching and training policies throughout mainland France, as well as in French overseas territories, and abroad.
