The Franco-Chinese Institute DGUT / Cnam China created in June 2017 in partnership with Dongguan University of Technology (DGUT), is a higher education institution in engineering and technology, accredited by the Chinese Ministry of National Education. This institute is one of the 17 Franco-Chinese institutions labeled "IFC" as the major actors in Franco-Chinese academic and scientific cooperation.

The Franco-Chinese Institute DGUT / Cnam China provides high-quality engineer training "à la française" (in French way) by following the principles and methods of the Cnam, directly in China. It aims more broadly to stimulate student and professor-researcher exchanges between China and France and to contribute to connecting the academic and scientific communities.

Already present in the heart of the territories throughout France and overseas, Cnam also has a strong international outreach. Through five centers in China, Côte d'Ivoire, Lebanon, Madagascar, Morocco and partnerships in 30 other countries around the world, including 15 countries of the Cnam’s INTEC network in Africa, Cnam makes all or part of its training offer accessible to students and adult learners abroad.

This international network aims to meet the specific needs and expectations of partners and countries in terms of education, vocational training and employment, in order to be as close as possible to socio-economic actors. Its intention is realized through actions and training programs with or without diploma, in collaboration with academic, institutional and professional partners. These actions lead to the dissemination of the Cnam's know-how through the sharing and transfer of skills. In addition, the Cnam has also been increasingly present for several years in international projects with multilateral or bilateral funding for cooperation in the fields of training and expertise.
